All-new graphics, lighting and environmental modelling technologies make the six different regions of West Virginia seem more alive than ever. Roam the forests of Appalachia or the toxic purple lands of the Bog; each region offers its own rewards and dangers. Post-nuclear America has never looked so good!

Use the all-new Portable Assembly and Mounting Centre (P.A.M.A.C.) to build and fabricate wherever you like. Your P.A.A.C. will provide you with essential shelter, equipment and security. You can even set up a shop to trade goods with other survivors. But beware, not everyone will be so benevolent.

Alone or with other survivors, you'll need to unlock access to the ultimate weapon: nuclear missiles. The destruction caused also creates a high-level zone containing rare and precious resources. Will you choose to protect or unleash the power of the atom? The choice is yours.
