Kazuma Kiryu thought the days of the Tojo Clan were over. With his young protégé, Haruka Sawamura, he had built a peaceful life far from the violence of yesteryear. A single gunshot was enough to disturb that peace. Yukio Terada, the Fifth President of the Tojo Clan, has just been assassinated. With war looming, the legendary Dragon of Dojima is called back to the world he wanted to forget forever.
Kiryu has to travel to Sotenbori, Osaka, to try and calm things down between the rival clans, but that's without counting on Ryuji Goda, the Dragon of Kansai, who will do anything to bring this war to a successful conclusion. And in this world, there can only be one dragon.
