In this underwater society, rubbish is a precious resource, whether it's used to improve your appearance or to make real firearms. However, the deluge of rubbish is accompanied by a mysterious infection, the Gunk, which could well spell the end of the entire ocean.

Throughout his aquatic explorations, Kril will develop a variety of Umami techniques, powerful attacks learned from contact with the ocean's residents. Strike enemies with the super-powered force of a sea mantis, immobilise them with the horrific Bobbit worm and more.
