That's where you come in. With Prohibition just passed, you arrive in town with dreams of grandeur. Behind the city's many facades, makeshift distilleries, secret loading bays and late-night speakeasies abound. Climb the ladder and the world is yours.

Take your first steps into the booze business by peddling homemade hooch. Set up your own distilleries and find the raw materials you need. Learn the techniques you need to make top-of-the-range drinks, or sell imported alcohol to expand your business. On the black market, relationships are as important as greenbacks. To escape the cops and the feds, you need to be able to rely on people you can trust. Use your network to meet influential people, and get recommendations from people who owe you a favour.
You'll need people to open new outlets, make deliveries and protect the stock your rivals are after. The scale of your business depends on the number of employees you have. Make sure they're paid, armed and organised so that nothing stands in your way.
Be careful, though, because everyone is watching you, and members of the same family always stick together. Whether you threaten them or help them, people will remember you and your henchmen.
