You play as Low and Alone, who have been best friends since they met in this living nightmare. They each possess an iconic object: a bow for Low and a spanner for Alone. Working together, they'll be able to sneak through hidden passages, hoist each other over huge obstacles and look out for each other. Whether you're playing with a friend or alone with an AI, you'll need to rely on each other's iconic items to create opportunities and progress. The environment is full of clues and opportunities that imaginative children can exploit. Low's arrows can hit high targets, cut ropes or shoot down flying enemies, and Alone's monkey spanner is perfect for crushing small, stunned enemies, destroying barriers, or operating and manipulating massive machines.

Wherever you go, the Nowhere is filled with horrific monsters. These Residents won't hesitate to do anything to catch any small, intrusive Visitors who catch their eye. You might find yourself playing a terrifying game of hide-and-seek with the Monstrous Baby in the sandy ruins of the Necropolis, struggling to avoid swarms of ravenous Caramblattes in a disturbing candy factory, or dodging gigantic feet while running along the promenade of a bizarre funfair. You'll need to be ready to run, hide or even defend yourself at all times to stay in one piece.

Don't be too distracted by the fateful beauty of Nowhere. Dark mysteries await you as Low and Alone traverse the Spiral through the mirrors. Each new location is more dangerous and unsettling than the last, and their journey will not be a smooth one as past traumas resurface. Can Low and Alone escape this endless nightmare?
