Geopolitical Simulator 5 - a.k.a. GPS 5 - is a simulation of today's world that reproduces its workings in depth in a wide range of areas: economic, political, military, social, financial, environmental, energy, transport, etc. Players can choose to manage one or more countries and develop collaborative strategies. Geopolitical Simulator 5, the game engine, includes more than 600 data sets for each of the 175 playable countries, and 3,000 global companies are identified with their real data. GPS 5 technologies are also used by training organisations, including NATO.
In 2024, points of tension are emerging, threatening the world's geopolitical balance. Four new scenarios illustrate this chaotic world:
As head of state, the player can take action in a number of areas, including taxation, the economy, defence and much more, by proposing legislation and building strategic infrastructure.
As an opponent, the player can conquer power by force, diplomacy or elections, using methods such as lobbying, manipulating influential figures or raising an army.
The player, at the head of a multinational corporation, manages the company's activities, from production to finance, and can also deal with economic conflicts and rivalries.
The player's actions trigger reactions from influential lobbies and personalities who will intervene if necessary, including through strikes, road blockades or war.
The world map includes detailed conflict locations, where players can lead their military units in realistic urban battles.
The secret services can carry out espionage and sabotage operations, and even assassinate opponents.
International organisations such as the UN play an important role, and players can even create their own organisation.
GPS 5 simulates a wide range of global threats, including global warming, regional conflicts and cybercrime.
