Task Force North, the sequel to the tactical game Door Kickers, is the closest thing to modern combat and close-quarters tactics in a video game.

Door Kickers 2 is a top-down tactical strategy game in which you control special forces units. You'll lead assaults to rescue hostages, arrest and capture terrorists in the fictional Middle Eastern country of Labastan.

True to the violence and dynamic nature of combat in this part of the world, the game reproduces deadly threats and technologies such as suicide bombers, homemade bombs and bazookas. For your part, you'll be treated to new toys, such as light machine guns for suppressive fire, night-vision binoculars for night battles and explosive charges to open up new access points.

Among all the new features and improvements, you can now choose the unit you want to deploy for each mission. The game features 3 units: the US Army Rangers, with their heavy firepower and great coordination. The CIA's Special Activities Division, with its small units of undercover agents capable of blending in with the enemy and launching surgical strikes when necessary. And finally, Labastan's SWAT team, ready to fight to the death for their country using homemade devices or equipment borrowed from their American allies. The choice is based not only on the men and weapons, but also on the play style, capabilities and doctrines of the units.

Door Kickers 2 features over 90 original missions, ready-made or auto-generated campaigns, a random mission generator and a comprehensive level and mission editor that lets you create your own content. The Steam Workshop already contains over 7,000 missions and is now open to custom units, total conversions and all sorts of amazing things that our modders know how to do.
