As you make your way through the levels, you'll need to collect eggs to unlock new characters. Eggs are difficult to obtain, and you'll have to start over many times to get them all.
And if Normal mode is too easy for you, there's also Crazy mode, where the enemies move even faster, making progress more difficult and getting eggs almost impossible. Eggs can also be used to buy new themes to explore new locations and levels.
