◆ New hunting action!

New attacks and combos will be available for all 14 weapon types. Each weapon will have even more unique actions, such as the grappling hook, which lets you hang onto monsters. Your stamina decreases when you're clinging to a monster, but it will be possible to control its movements!

◆ A new difficulty for quests, Master Rank!

In addition to the "Novice" and "Expert" difficulties, "Master Rank" is making its appearance.

Master Rank quests become available once you've purchased the "Monster Hunter World: Iceborne" expansion pack. You'll be able to obtain new materials and fight more powerful monsters!

◆ A new region, the "Eternal Frost"!

A unique environment, as yet undiscovered by man. Eternal Frost abounds with animals and monsters capable of surviving in the region's most hostile climates. The geography of Eternal Frost is varied and offers many natural landscapes, such as deep layers of snow, hot springs and ice floors that could shatter at any moment! The visual effects are among the most detailed in the "Monster Hunter" series!

◆ A host of new monsters!

Eternal Frost is home to many terrifying animal species and monsters, such as the Beotodus that can swim in the snow, the furious Banbaro, or the mysterious ancient dragon Velkhana.

But there are changes in every region! Go in search of the ecofacts of the monsters that made the series such a success, such as the Tigrex and the Nargacuga!
