A NEW APPROACH TO 3RD PERSON COMBAT

The martial arts combat system gives you the greatest freedom of movement and unrivalled agility for shooting, hand-to-hand combat and harnessing your mutant powers. As you progress, you'll learn new forms of wung-fu combat from the masters you meet, giving you more and more choice in combat for an ever-changing experience.

EVOLVE YOUR GAME

You can re-encode your genetic structure to modify your appearance and playing style. This will, of course, affect your attributes. What's more, exposure to the world's biological contamination will cause mutations like Turtle Shape or Slime Bubble, while exposure to the radioactivity present in the bunkers of the Old World will affect your mind, unlocking psionic mutations like telekinesis, levitation and more.

HIGH-LEVEL CRAFTING

You're absolutely free to make your own weapons. Mix and match parts to create your own unique one- or two-handed weapons, revolvers, shotguns and pump-action rifles, and add modifications like a corkscrew, battery-powered chainsaw module or flasks of contaminated molasses to vary your arsenal. You'll also meet characters who'll make things for you, like bionic wings or even modifications for your automaton!

EQUIP YOURSELF FOR ADVENTURE

You have complete freedom in terms of equipment. Not only can you choose from the weapons you've created, but also the type of equipment you wear. Put on a gas mask and oxygen tank to explore the Zonemortes, heat-resistant clothing to venture into the icy zones or protective gear to confront bio-contaminated creatures. The choice is yours.

SURVIVE IN AN OPEN WORLD FULL OF LIFE

You can explore the world freely, on or below the surface, on foot, by meka, Glop-Ski, balloon or mount. Explore the dying wilderness, the networks of tunnels and bunkers of the underground world, make your way to the mountains or to an archipelago. You'll find plenty to discover, mysteries to unravel, creatures to face and strange characters to meet in this lively, colourful world.

AN UNUSUAL STORY WITH AN UNUSUAL ENDING

Your actions are of paramount importance in this story where the end of the new world is approaching. An epidemic is ravaging the land and the Tree of Life is spreading death by its roots. The tribes are divided. They need someone strong enough to unite them or finish them off...

You will be guided through this world by a Storyteller who will narrate each stage of your adventure, but it is your actions and choices that will determine the end of your story of survival.
