Thrones of Britannia is a game derived from the Total War series that invites you to rewrite a critical moment in history, a key moment for the future of modern Britain. Play as one of ten playable factions as you build and defend a kingdom to the glory of the Anglo-Saxons, Gaelic clans, Welsh tribes and Viking settlers. Forge alliances, administer thriving settlements, build armies and traverse the most detailed Total War map to date through campaigns of conquest.
Choose your strategy
The grand campaign offers you several options for achieving a glorious victory; expand your territory by force of arms. Your flourishing colonies, advanced technology and influence will bring you glory. In addition, complete a series of unique objectives based on the history of your chosen faction. Finally, prepare for the main challenge at the end of the game and the last, ultimate condition for victory.
Explore and conquer the British Isles
From the snowy highlands of Scotland to the orchards and meadows of Kent, lift the fog of war and reveal the breadth of Anglo-Saxon Britain. The many urban and rural environments provide the backdrop for the various battlefields. Test different strategies against new small colonies to capture. Cut off your enemies' trade routes and breach their strong defences.
