The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria™ follows the Dwarves on a new adventure to reclaim Moria, beneath the Mountains of Mist. Join forces to survive, craft items, build various structures and explore these famous sprawling mines. You'll need to be careful, though, as there are plenty of dangers in store!
Answer the call of the Loop-bearing Lord Gimli! Take control of a company of Dwarves and recover the lost loot from their homeland, Moria, also known as Khazad-dûm or Dwarf Hollow. Muster all your courage to dive into its bowels and recover its treasures.
No two adventures are alike in this procedurally-generated world, and each expedition can be enjoyed solo or with friends. Draw your pickaxe to extract the materials you need to make better weapons and resources, but beware: the noise generated can awaken many dangers... A clash begets a fight! Unlock the mysteries of three legendary mountains, unearth precious metals, survive as best you can and battle unspeakable forces to uncover the secret of the lurking Shadow.

• Middle-earth beckons: discover new facets of the dwarven community and rediscover the riches of the iconic fantasy world created by J.R.R. Tolkien.
  
• Face the darkness: to survive in the mines, you'll have to save your resources, hunt and forage for food, manage your sleep and control the temperature and noise levels. Battle malevolent beings and resist hordes of Orcs in bloody battles, while shedding light on the secret of the Shadow.
  
• Build your base: find solace in the darkness by revealing new locations in which to build impressive edifices. Be creative and build bases from scratch or by re-using existing buildings. But beware of the evil creatures who wish to hinder the Dwarves' progress!
  
• Transform Moria: as the story unfolds, restore the ancient lost kingdom of Khazad-dûm to its former glory by reviving the monuments and landmarks that are emblematic of Dwarven history. Revive the ancient mines and reignite the forges to take advantage of their untouched resources.
  
• Explore the depths of Moria: procedurally-generated environments abound in resources, mystery and danger, offering a unique experience with each new playthrough.
  
• Go on an adventure together: play solo or online in this cooperative multiplayer game.
  
• Make tools, weapons and more: craft and steal legendary dwarven weapons, armour, tools and structures. Restore ancient forges to strengthen, repair and enchant your equipment. Improve and unlock new technologies and fantastic machines.
  
• Discover magical artefacts: unearth ancient magical objects, including swords that glint near Orcs, maps showing abandoned mithril veins, forgotten craft books or amulets lending strength and wisdom.
  
• Use your pickaxe: set up mines to unearth deposits of iron, gold, quartz and wonderful materials like mithril. Access the workshops and forges to transform the ore into ingots and improve your equipment. But beware: noise can awaken the horrors hidden in the darkness.
  
• Create your character: join the Dwarven legend by playing as your very own personalised Dwarf! Show off your style with the weapons and armour you can find or make in-game.
