You'll have to abide by prison rules, report for duty, work and follow strict routines, all while planning your escape in secret!
Your escapes will take you to the frozen Tundra fort, on a train across the desert, or even to the final frontier!
It's time to personalise your prisoner. Choose from a selection of personalisation options to make your character unique. It's important to plan an escape in style.
Team up with up to 3 friends to create the ultimate escape team and plan the most incredible escapes of all time! Get together online or on the sofa to plan your stealthy adventures. Working as a group will enable you to come up with even more elaborate and daring plans.
Are you a competitive spirit? Switch to Versus mode and show your friends that you can break out of any prison faster than they can. As a last resort, fight it out in the prison yard to settle the score!
Being in prison forces you to be creative with the few options you have. You'll have to combine everyday items, like soap and socks, to create new weapons and tools to help you achieve your goal. Steal forks from the canteen to tunnel through your cell and make a poster from magazines to hide the evidence. You'll soon learn that adhesive tape can be used for (almost) anything!
The Escapists 2 introduces a new combat system that makes every encounter more exciting and interactive. You'll have to block and link attacks, while moving around your target to get the upper hand. Stop by the gym to build up your muscles!
The higher the level of the prisons, the more creative you'll have to be. You've got loads of options for attempting any kind of escape. Try to concoct something that will make you look dead and leave the morgue to do the rest!
Thanks to the prison card editor, it's your turn to build a prison capable of holding back the toughest inmates! Choose from a range of rooms, fences and guard dogs to design the toughest prison you can imagine (adhesive not required).
Put these prison plans into action and develop your own creations using the Custom Prisons option in the main menu. When the time comes, share them with the world via the Steam Workshop. You can also download other architects' penitentiaries there. Note that all custom maps can be played in single-player, local multiplayer or online!
