A mix of action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic experience of 2013. The most popular figures in the Resident Evil series, Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield and Ada Wong, are joined by new characters, including Jake Muller, to take on a new threat: the highly virulent Virus-C. The storyline will take them from North America to the Chinese city of Lanshiang, via Edonia, a war-torn Eastern European state.

Beginning with four distinct but intertwined stories. Each with its own pair of protagonists, to be played solo or in co-op, online or offline, allowing Resident Evil 6 to offer multiple perspectives and different gameplay styles, as well as the chance for players to team up and experience horror together, thanks to the introduction of the innovative Crossover feature. At key points in the game, up to four players will be able to join forces online to tackle a specific situation, sometimes even swapping the usual duos to further increase the depth of the gameplay.

• Horror on a global scale - The C-Virus epidemic is no longer confined to a specific area, but is truly global, with action taking place in North America, Eastern Europe and China. As the most expansive Resident Evil ever created, experience the horror through four distinct but intertwined campaigns:
• Crossover gameplay - Not only do each story intertwine, but so does the action - At key moments, the story will bring together duos of characters, with the all-new Crossover system allowing up to 4 players to team up to experience the horror together.
• Single-player or co-op - Resident Evil 6 offers single-player or two-player co-op gameplay, online or locally (Ada Wong's campaign, however, is single-player only)
• New threats - Face the consequences of Virus-C in all its forms, including zombies, J'avo, Chrysalids and more. Agent Hunt mode - In this all-new online mode for the Resident Evil series, experience the action from the other side. Playing as a 'hunter', join the enemy ranks and become one of the zombies, J'avo or another mutant resulting from the effects of the C-Virus, before infiltrating a game in progress to take out the human characters.
• Play it your way - Use Skill Points to improve your character and give them access to a faster reload speed, greater firepower or a larger life bar thanks to the Character Skill system.
• A redesigned control system - Resident Evil 6 introduces an advanced control system that allows players to shoot while moving, slide or roll in any direction, take cover and benefit from improved melee attacks.
• The return of Mercenaries - Players will once again be able to enjoy the highly popular Mercenaries mode.
• The Mercenaries No quarter given - An experience available exclusively on PC, this additional mode contains twice as many enemies as The Mercenaries!
