PRESENTATION

"Monster Hunter: World", the latest instalment in the saga, offers a new dimension to the game and a feeling of freedom that is unparalleled in previous instalments. Hunters of all backgrounds will finally be able to exploit their full potential, using a varied arsenal to brilliantly hunt down a unique bestiary of inspired design, in a fabulous world full of surprises.

STORY

Once every 10 years, ancient dragons cross the oceans to reach the continent of the New World. This mysterious phenomenon is known as the "Crossing of the Ancients".

In order to uncover the secret of the ancient dragons, the Guild formed the Research Commission, which is responsible for sending large fleets to the New World.

As the Commission sends the Fifth Fleet in pursuit of the Zorah Magdaros, a colossal volcanic ancient dragon, one hunter among many is about to embark on an extraordinary adventure that defies all imagination.

Your equipment will be your most faithful ally during your conquest of the New World.

• The hunter's arsenal

There are 14 different weapons available in the hunter's arsenal. Each has its own characteristics and attacks. Some hunters are highly skilled in several weapons, while others prefer to concentrate on mastering a single weapon.

• Navicioles

You'll find various monster ecofacts in each region, such as footprints and claw marks. Your navicioles can memorise the scent of a monster and guide you to other ecofacts. As you discover new ecofacts, your navicioles will provide you with more detailed information.

• The slingshot

The slingshot is an indispensable tool for all hunters. You can use stones, nuts or other objects found in the field as projectiles. The slingshot can be used as a tool of attack, diversion or transport, allowing you to develop new strategies for hunting your prey.

• Survival tools

Survival tools can activate powerful effects for a limited time.

You can equip two tools at a time.

Using them couldn't be easier! Just select them like any other item.

• Palicos

Palicos are a hunter's best allies.

These little felines specialise in attack, defence and healing, and can use a wide range of skills to help their master.

Palicos have proudly joined the Fifth Fleet as full members of the Commission.
