Martha Is Dead is a dark, psychological first-person thriller set in 1944 that blurs the boundaries between reality, superstition and the tragedy of war.
As the conflict between Germany and the Allied forces rages on, the desecrated corpse of a drowned woman is discovered... Martha!
Martha is dead, and her twin sister Giulia, the daughter of a German soldier, will have to cope alone with this terrible loss and the repercussions of her murder. Her quest for the truth is clouded by mysterious folk tales and the horror of the war, which is drawing ever closer.
