Remaster of the beginning of the MAFIA saga

Set in the 1930s in Lost Heaven, Illinois. You'll have to prove yourself and evolve within the mafia during Prohibition. The manufacture, transport, sale, import and export of alcoholic beverages were forbidden in the United States.

A taxi driver called Tommy Angelo becomes acquainted with the criminal underworld following an altercation with the mob. The idea of working for the Salieri family initially puts him off, but the rewards of this association are far greater.

In this complete remastering, you'll feel like you're playing in a gangster film (Goodfellas ❤).

In this new version of Mafia 1, you'll find sublimated graphics transporting you straight back to the 1930s, with that distinctive atmosphere. You'll be able to admire, hear and interact with the architecture, cars and culture of the interwar period.

Faithful to the original, this version with an extended storyline retains the original gameplay and music. Find Mafia as you remember it and more.

Improvements :

• Gunplay

A number of improvements have been made, notably to the gunplay. Although it's not identical, it's a little closer to Mafia 3, with a more nervous and incisive style.

• Driving
  

You'll be playing the role of a taxi driver who's gradually falling in with the mafia, so it's only logical that driving should be one of your main preoccupations.

There will be 2 driving modes and the addition of new vehicles: motorbikes.

• Parameters
  

Police behaviour can be managed. You can adjust the carelessness, aggression and presence of the forces of law and order to tailor the experience to your tastes, so speeding or running a red light won't necessarily be enough of a reason to be wanted, as in the original.

• Scenario
  

Many of the characters will have their backstories fleshed out to add more depth to the story.
