A new tale of the Kami awaits you...
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is a unique game, combining single-player action and strategy in a setting inspired by Japanese folklore, particularly kagura.
The game takes place on a mountain stricken by corruption.
During the day, purify the villages and prepare for nightfall.
During the night, protect the priestess from hordes of damned Ikoku.
Repeat the cycle of days and nights until you rid the mountain of corruption and restore peace.
A unique setting inspired by Japan
The action takes place on Mount Kafuku, a mountain stricken by corruption. The game offers a glimpse of Japanese culture, notably through kagura, masks and music.
The Ikaku
The Ikaku emerge from the other world through the torii at nightfall. These enemies, who have different abilities, attack the priestess under the cover of the shadows. The director's inspiration and precision can be found in all the game's fundamental concepts.
Epic martial dances
Soh, the main character, wields a sword to protect Yoshiro, the priestess of the mountain, when she confronts the Ikaku. Don't be intimidated by the various enemy attacks, and take them down with martial dance!
A clever blend of action and strategy
Soh doesn't fight alone, but has the help of villagers who have been assigned distinct roles. Which positions and professions will be most effective? Where will the villagers fight? Which enemies will Soh focus on? Put your strategic skills to the test on constantly changing battlefields.
Purify the torii of corruption
If you can survive the Ikaku attacks until dawn and lead Yoshiro to a torii while the sun is shining, you can purify it with his kagura. Restore peace to the mountain villages!
