Send your agents to thwart your rivals' plans with the utmost discretion. Vote for political resolutions at the Landsraad to advance your strategy.

4X in real time

Send ornithopters to explore Dune and discover resources, villages and other places of interest. Expand your territory with the strength of your legions. Exploit your resources with different buildings and harvest spice with your harvesters to ensure you have the economic edge. Build up your military might and exterminate your enemies, although be aware that unjustified aggression can have serious political repercussions.

Choose your faction

Choose the path of honour and political influence by playing the highly respected House Atreides, or choose the path of violence and Machiavellian plots by playing House Harkonnen. Tame the desert and master guerrilla tactics with the indigenous Fremen people, or gain influence through dubious deals and clandestine operations with the Smugglers.

The selection of your advisors will personalise your faction. Alongside Duncan Idaho, the legendary master-at-arms, your territorial advances and combat exploits will be relentless. Win the support of the people of Arrakis with the Fremen's Chani Kynes, or invade Dune by force with the Harkonnen's Rabban.
