How do I buy an Xbox card with my phone package?

How do Xbox cards work?

Once you have placed your order for an Xbox 15 € card, you will receive an e-mail with a 25-character code to enter into your Microsoft account. This code can be validated online directly on the Microsoft website, from your mobile or from your Xbox 360, One or Series console.

To use the Xbox code from your PC or mobile :

1. Go to microsoft.com/redeem
2. Carefully reveal the code and enter it
3. Start shopping

To use the Xbox code from your Xbox Series X|S console:

1. Sign in to your Microsoft account on your Xbox One or Series X/S console
2. From Home, open the Microsoft Store (also accessible from "My games and applications").
3. Open the side menu using the controller or by moving your cursor to the left and choose "Redeem".
4. Enter the 25-character Xbox code without the hyphens

Once your Xbox Prepaid Card has been used, the amount will be added to your account so that you can make purchases in the Microsoft Store, on Windows and on Xbox.

Does my Xbox card have an expiry date?

Prepaid cards do not have an expiry date. So you can use them whenever you want.

Is it possible to buy an Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass subscription with an Xbox prepaid card?

You can use the balance on your prepaid card to buy Xbox subscriptions. The best way to avoid wasting pennies and time is to buy a subscription card directly.

What's the difference between a Microsoft card and an Xbox card?

Apart from the name, there is no difference between them. They work in exactly the same way. The balance added to your Microsoft account can be used in the Microsoft Store, on Windows and on Xbox.
