New to Mario Party?
Don't worry, the rules are simple!
Just roll your dice to move around the board to collect coins and trigger all sorts of special events.
When everyone has finished their turn, a mini-game is launched! The better you do, the more coins you'll earn.
Once you've got 20 coins, you can exchange them for a star, and whoever has collected the most stars at the end of the game wins!
A plethora of boards!
Climb aboard the hot-air balloon and fly off to the islands where seven boards full of surprises await you!
Up to four players in local and online multiplayer
Classic mode or pro mode?
The choice is yours! Classic mode lets you enjoy a more relaxed Mario Party experience. Pro mode, on the other hand, leaves less to chance and more to talent.
Play the way you like
Personalise your game with all kinds of options! For example, you can change the level of the computer-controlled characters, decide how many stars each one starts the game with, activate or deactivate mini-games with motion controls, and much more!
Characters galore!
A record number of characters from the four corners of the Mushroom Kingdom have come together to celebrate! Play as the mischievous Boo, the sweet Yoshi, new faces like Pauline and Ninji, Mario and many more!
Jamboree mates
Characters will also be inviting themselves onto the stage to play the role of Jamboree comrades! Join them and win the mini-game that follows (with a small advantage for whoever joins the character first) to get them to team up with you.
Once they're by your side, you can use their unique abilities to copy an opponent's item, for example, or add points to your dice roll... but that's not all! Having a Jamboree buddy with you also means you can buy two stars instead of one!

Over 110 mini-games await you in the Mini-Games Marina! Play your favourites in Free Play mode, go head-to-head in Two-Team Match mode, put your skills to the test in the Daily Challenge, or challenge the rest of the world online in Survival mode!
