Prison Architect: Going Green integrates agriculture into your complex, introducing farming, exporting and a whole host of smuggling activities.

Fruits of labour :

Agriculture introduces a new type of prison task. It allows prisons to grow potatoes, wheat, apples and more. The produce can be exported or used as ingredients for prisoners' meals.

Space to grow:

There are three outdoor rooms for growing crops: the orchard, the field and the vegetable garden. But that's not all: players can recruit farm workers, build a cellar to store produce and a lean-to to store farm equipment.

A flourishing prison:

Prisoners who appreciate the beauty of nature can grow flowers and other plants for recreational purposes. Gardening influences inmates and provides them with a positive recreational activity.

He who sows the wind :

New crops, new contraband. Prisoners can now secretly grow herbs in the fields and mow ingredients to make alcohol. The fields can also become gang territory, so put your guards on alert!

A new green deal:

The prisons are being renovated using environmentally-friendly energy sources: solar, wind and solar/wind hybrid. The surplus energy produced by these sustainable methods can be sold back to the grid thanks to the energy export meter.
