Featuring a variety of lush habitats, APICO combines resource gathering, biology, beekeeping and floriculture mini-games with a mix of real-life and fantasy elements.
On your journey, you'll discover extinct species, come across new types of bee and help restore the bee population on the islands.
APICO is developed by TNgineers, two brothers, Ell and Jamie, who were inspired by their love of casual building games.
Their aim was to create something that was relaxing, intriguing and educational (don't mind the magic bees). Ell builds beautiful things and Jamie makes sure to break them.
Bees are a fundamental part of the game, just as they are in real-world ecosystems. We want to promote bee conservation, so we donate a portion of sales to national and international beekeeping organisations.
