In Kerbal Space Program, you're in charge of the space programme for the Kerbals, an alien race. You have access to a whole range of parts to assemble a functional spaceship that flies (or doesn't) based on real-life aerodynamics and orbital physics. Launch your crew of Kerbals into orbit or into space (trying to keep them alive) to explore the moons and planets of the Kerbol solar system and build bases and space stations to extend the reach of your expeditions.

Kerbal Space Program offers three game modes.

• In Science mode, carry out space experiments to unlock new technologies and advance Kerbality's knowledge.
• In Career mode, oversee all aspects of a space programme, including construction, strategy, funding, upgrades and more.
• In Sandbox mode, you can freely build any spaceship you like, using all the parts and technology available in-game.

• Build spaceships, rockets and vehicles from any combination of parts imaginable. Each has its own function, which will affect the way your ship behaves.
• Take full control of your ship's settings to perform complex flight manoeuvres.
• Manage your Kerbals crew, from recruiting and training them to sending them out into space to become heroes.
• Discover an entire solar system with unique moons and planets, and explore detailed terrain on a grand scale.
• Send your crew of Kerbals out of their ships for "extra-vehicular" activities.
• Dock spaceships together to build space stations, giant ships and surface bases on new planets.
• Use satellites to scan the terrain for biomes and other anomalies.
• Set up communication networks between your ship and the Kerbal Space Centre.
• Research and develop new technologies to extract useful information and resources from all over the solar system, and much more!
