ENDLESS™ Legend 2 is a fantasy strategy game in which you lead factions of diverse origins to build vast empires and wage planetary wars on an ever-changing but endangered ocean world: cataclysmic events have devastated the natural order and the world itself changes over time, to reveal new vistas of exploration and conquest to those who dare to seize them. Establish vast cities to spread your influence and strengthen your economy, raise armies and command tactical turn-based battles to impose your dominance, then venture into the unknown to discover the dark secrets hidden at the centre of the planet.

Whether you lead valiant warriors descended from the stars, cursed knights in search of an escape from their sorry fate or an alien swarm looking only to fight, devour and breed, ENDLESS™ Legend 2 brings together very different factions each motivated by its own philosophy, history, abilities and storyline. Each faction is distinguished by unique characteristics: army, trade, construction, diplomacy... It's up to you to take their strengths and weaknesses into account and develop a strategy and style of play to suit.

• Your choice of faction affects every aspect of the game. Will you prefer constant fighting, without having to justify your wars, getting reinforcements with each victory to gain strength without ever stopping? Or will you opt for coexistence and cooperation, extending your influence around the world to create a network of allies, forge relationships with the world's minor factions and continually enrich your empire? Or will you become the leader of an openly cannibalistic species, enjoying an economy unlike any other, free from vulgar mortal needs? Learn what distinguishes each faction and use it to better lead or destroy them.
• Military doctrine changes dramatically from one faction to the next, providing the astute commander with unique advantages over the enemy, even outside combat. As leader of the Children of Sheredyn, build gigantic fortifications to defend cities and connect to formidable weapons and auxiliary systems in orbit. Invest in the propagation of coral to keep the Oblative Spiritualists alive outside allied territory. Scour the planet for nests and burrows to cover large distances quickly and catch the enemy on the back foot with the Necrophage swarm.
• At the start of a battle, you can choose to resolve it automatically or take direct control of one of your units: it's up to you to take advantage of the topography by exploiting bottlenecks, shelters and overhangs. In addition to specific units, traits, weapons and attributes, each faction also has special abilities on the battlefield that can turn defeat into victory, provided they are used properly. Where one faction will be more in its element with a patient commander, able to methodically manoeuvre his troops to take advantage of powerful proximity bonuses, another will rely more on numerical superiority and brute force.
• Recruit heroes and watch them evolve over time, gaining new traits to develop their abilities, forging relationships that earn them various bonuses, and acquiring equipment that's useful both in and out of combat. Powerful, well-trained and well-equipped commanders can be the key to victory if you use them wisely.

Empires will rise and fall according to their ability to adapt to an ever-changing world. Start from a single city and expand, taking into account the unique advantages and limitations of your faction, while adapting to the monsoons and tides that occur at regular intervals. Build neighbourhoods around the central structures of your cities, exploit the wealth and strategic resources scattered around the environment, and develop your technological capabilities and industrial power.

• During cataclysmic tides, the ocean recedes to reveal new opportunities for you and your opponents to conquer, new resources to exploit and new threats and anomalies to explore. Although this phenomenon has no effect on your territory, it can nevertheless change the long-term strategic value of various locations. A wise leader must therefore plan for the inevitable: are you going to prepare to gain new land as soon as the Tide has passed, or consolidate your defences where you expect new isthmus to appear?
• Plan the development of your cities to encourage demographic growth, industrialisation and trade, or focus on their contribution to science, the influence of your empire and your military power: the choice is yours to make according to the needs of your fledgling empire. Found districts that provide fortifications or increase the production of various resources, take advantage of terrain and proximity bonuses, and develop technological advances that will enable you to improve existing districts or even unlock new choices. Will you patiently search for the ideal location to establish economic centres and military strongholds that will stand the test of time, or will you expand rapidly to get ahead of your enemies in your bid to control the land and its resources?
• The surrounding lands abound with both opportunities and dangers. Crush the minor factions that dot the world to plunder their resources, or forge friendly relationships with them to assimilate them into your empire, incorporating their units and heroes into the service of your people. Explore ancient ruins and strange anomalies, braving the dangers of the unknown to enrich your lands and earn powerful artefacts that will help you triumph over your rivals.
• A deep mystery lurks in the depths of this once tranquil ocean world, an antediluvian power simmering in the darkness. Gain control of the planet through violent conquest, seek victory through diplomacy and technological advancement, complete quests and discover events that can alter the course of a campaign, or rely on your loyal heroes to etch the history of your people. The choice is yours.
